Scottish Rum has been designed, distilled and bottled with its soul focused on adventure and an adrenalin lifestyle. Modern renewable technology has been adopted at every level of production and distribution. We don’t drink alone; we wish to embrace social gatherings with a healthy respect for alcohol’s dangers and of course its great benefits. I want to create socializing clubs of like-minded people creating memorable interaction. Pirates never operated alone, they pushed the limits and drank lots of rum.
About Us
“Ronald Dunnett” the founder has the bloodline of the Vikings running through his Veins, with Pirate heritage in more modern times from the Island of Stroma
where his mother and family hail from. Ronald has designed his new distillery concept from years on the high sea’s fighting today’s pirates around the globe as a Royal Marine Commando on a British Royal Navy “Man of War” HMS Ariadne and then as a private contractor protecting Supertankers on the coasts of Africa. With the lingering taste of sea salt and the odor of gunpowder lingering in his palatable memory Ronald has decided to design build and operate a process of distillation encompassing the most modern renewable energy systems with the heritage of the world’s most established coastal whiskey distilleries located strategically around his home in the Northern Highlands of Scotland’s Coast. A modern Rum with the soul and spirit of Adrenalin filled lifestyles.
My journey has begun, I am launching a unique concept to fund the business with Crypto currency and its an exciting opportunity. Why Crypto?
Fortunately while discussing the concept of funding a Distillery with an old friend who has spent many years working in the financial sector in London, he mentioned the flexibility and capacity of Crypto currencies which of course I was oblivious to. With his guidance I have studied the opportunities available for the past three months and concluded that I wanted to use Crypto currency as a financial solution, I have started my journey of Crypto enlightenment. After much consultation I have chosen Ravencoin as a protocol based on a fork of the Bitcoin code with added features allowing issuance of assets on the Ravencoin blockchain. We shall be issuing Scottish Rum tokens and a white paper will be available for investors on request.
Our unique process
Renovating the old Watermill & Blacksmith foundry sympathetically in traditional architectural methods while expanding the building to incorporate the state of art efficiency of renewable energy sources from sun, ground and water. The project will be kind to the original features while ensuring the materials are sourced locally, local trades people are to be engaged to deliver the site of our distillery and its upgrades. We shall design a bottling system to only have re-usable bottles. The building will have accommodation for guests, a tour with a shop and tasting bar along with a bonded warehouse.
